Smithpack  Covid19 precautions:

March 26, 2020

In the light of current Government directives, Smithpack are reducing operating shifts to an absolute minimum in order to minimise the need for our employees to leave home; whilst remaining conscious of the needs of those of our customers who are in critical supply chains such as medical, food and essential utilities.
In order for us to prioritise the continued supply of essential packaging feeding into critical supply chains, we are requesting customers with such critical requirements to urgently advise us of their anticipated packaging requirements for April so we can ensure sufficient production capacity, stock and raw materials are maintained for the lead up to Easter and immediately beyond.(26/3/20).

Smithpack have ceased all non-essential travel and meetings. Smithpack plan to operate the minimum skeleton factory/operational workforce necessary during the period of Government directed “Lock Down” in order to continue to manufacture critical orders.

Smithpack email addresses will continue to be monitored during this time and email is usually the best form of contact across the company at this time.

We are prioritising the building of stocks and supply for any customer lines that are a priority requirement for supply. Customers who are aware of any such corrugated packaging lines which should be prioritised are asked to make sure that we have identified them.
