The Office of Fair Trading are considering whether there is likely to be a "relevant merger situation" arising from the anticipated acquisition by Smurfit Kappa of Mondi AG's UK corrugated packaging operations at Bux, March and Mold and, if so, whether it would warrant referral to the Competition Commission.
